Gissing Legacy, 1.3

Well, would you look at that...

Elinor, sitting still. And reading. Autonomously.

Though it might have something to do with her mum commandeering her bed and her dad sleeping in his.
Where's Marianne? Well...

She's headed downtown.

Where she spends the whole time practicing her DJ skills.

As you can see, she draws quite a crowd.

Back home, George returns from work. And he's not alone.

It's Brandon Lillard. Hmm... I think it may be time to see how dominant George's facial genetics truly are. Well, almost time.

You're going to get that Brandon fellow arrested, you know.

She doesn't seem to have improved her methods for dealing with criticism.

George: Mind your own business, kid. Take a hike.

George: I thought I told you to take a hike.
Kid: I decided to get lost instead.

Marianne got a job and a promotion.

Brandon came over for a makeover. He, er... needs one.

No, Marianne, you may not run away together.

LTW FTW!

Marianne takes cleaning to new levels.

Look at that trail! She bubble-farted well into the night.

And the next day, she became an overachiever.

Elinor grows up. And she's platinum, too. She rolled popularity.

Is that sibling rivalry I see? Nope, Marianne's

I'm still the pretty one.

...I haven't got a clue.

Elinor rolled a want to go to college, so I obliged. Marianne still hasn't rolled the want and she's a knowledge sim.

I'm going to college. I'm so awesome.

Nice outfit, Elinor. She starts socializing the second she gets there.
Elinor: You look like a burglar.
Dormie: I know, right?

Dormie: I've got lots of cash. *nervous laughter*

Elinor: You should keep it in a safe, we've got a burglar in the dorm.
Back home, Marianne chats away on the phone.

I wonder who it is...

Obsess much, Marianne?

I see what you did there, George.

Marisa and George head downtown to take care of George's pesky public woohoo want.

Marianne, what the heck are you doing here?

Because cheering on your parents is perfectly normal...

Um, George, I don't think you're supposed to enjoy that.

Yep, perfectly normal.

Marianne finally rolls the want to go to college.

However, she seems to be having second thoughts.
We interrupt our regularly scheduled legacy to bring you:
The Welcome Wagon
Starring Dexter Morgan:

Um, Dex?

Yes?
There are some visitors outside waiting to welcome you to the neighborhood.
Uh-huh. I heard the doorbell.
So...
What?
Maybe you should go greet them. It'll help you, er, fit in.

Darn. OK.

But I'll be back for you later!

There's George...

Captain Jack Sparrow...

And The Metatron from Dogma.

Jack: I love kissing.
George: Yeah, kissing is great.

George: Hang on... You better stay away from my wife. And my daughters. Savvy?
Jack: All right, mate.

George: Hugs?
Jack: Nooooo.

Dexter: Did anyone ever tell you that you look like that guy from Harry Potter?

Metatron: I get that all the time, actually.

Jack: What did you say about the Pearl, mate?

Jack: We should be friends.
Dex: No thanks.

Jack: But I'm Captain Jack Sparrow!

Dex: I hear it's really cold at world's end.
I'd watch out if I were you, Jack.
Dexter's guests take over his living room.

George: He really does look like the guy from Harry Potter.
And what is Dexter up to?

He's eating dinner.

And taking out the trash.
Dex, you're supposed to pay attention to your guests.
Dex: Oh, all right.

Dex: Did I tell you that you look like the guy from Harry Pott--
I think he's had enough of that topic, Dex. Just... say goodbye, will you?

Good boy.

I love how Marianne didn't roll the want for college right away. I think she was holding out, hoping you'd let her run off with Brandon Lillard after all! Then when you didn't she's like, "Might as well try this college thing then..." ;) Now her little sister will be able to show her around and warn her to keep an eye on her belongings, lol.
That picture of Marissa opening the fridge door and earning money made me laugh. Dang, if my fortune sim could earn money by doing that, she's be a very wealthy woman... instead of just a fat lazy one. ;p
