Thanksgiving, Pt 1
Nov. 21st, 2007 06:51 pmMade Ty his peanut butter pie today. Christian helped. He said it was much more fun than making a mixture* because you get to eat some while you're making it when it's done. I volunteered for potato peeling duty tomorrow. I think Grandma said there were 25 or so little ones. I like doing that sort of thing. It's been a couple years since we've had Thanksgiving at home, it'll be nice to have leftovers again.
*Basically a random mix of spare bits of everything and anything in the kitchen/pantry. I used to love making them when I was his age. I think I managed to kill the poison ivy on the back fence with one once, so you can imagine they're not particularly appetizing.
