Oh, goodness. This one I'm good at.

Really? REALLY?! And to think, all the time I wasted climbing UP the hill trying to delay the inevitable, I could have been winning what I thought was an impossible and rigged game... I kind of want to go find an old PC, fire it up and beat that sucker, darn it.
On the Titanic front, I believe I've confirmed that the two meals were indeed on different days. There was a deleted scene with a throwaway line about how ridiculous it was to try to kill yourself by jumping off the Titanic when you'd only have to wait two days and it'd pretty much be taken care of for you. As far as I can tell, it was never made strictly clear in the actual movie, but hey, not everyone goes through the thing and tries to match stuff up, hour for hour. At least until the 'berg hit, then I can see people being picky.
I've been cross-referencing the timeline of Titanic with the timeline of events on the actual ship--yeah, don't ask, I'm very obsessivestrange sometimes--and I seem to have hit a snag. As far as I can tell, they lost a whole freaking day in the movie timeline. WTH? Why has it taken me twelve years and countless viewings to notice this? Speaking of not noticing things for twelve years and countless viewings, this scene?

Guess what I never noticed until I watched last night. With the commentary on. And somebody pointing it out to me.

Yep, the Hair-Comb-of-Recovered-Artifactia. Four viewings in the theatre alone and numerous viewings since and every stinking time, since I was eleven years old, I must have been watching the scene like this:
Bloody Garber-induced tunnel vision. Jack/Leo who?
Anyway, back to the timeline...
( Click for even MORE obsessiveness. And tables. )

Well, that solves that mystery...
Nov. 23rd, 2009 12:29 pmA few weeks ago, I was helping my mum redo my youngest brother's room. A complete revamp, rearranging the furniture, putting together a couple bookcases, hanging shelves, etc. Anyway, I put a few pieces of metal picture-hanging hardware in the pocket of my hoodie, along with a whole bunch of other spare bits of stuff. When I got ready for bed that night and emptied my pocket, the hardware was nowhere to be found. I thought maybe it fell out, so I searched high and low for it, but it seemed to disappear into thin air. Until today. Apparently, I also had a freaking magnet in my pocket and I managed to put it somewhere without noticing the five or six nails and hooks attached to the bloody (not literally, thankfully) thing. I'm usually more observant than that. Weeeeiird.
Another meme, iTunes-style

Nov. 21st, 2009 03:29 pmI watched this video last night. All of it. Even the first ten minutes, before AB starts talking, mostly because I've always found studying the back of someone's head to be... useful, if not exactly entertaining. ;) But once Alton started, I spent a lot of time laughing. A lot. And after the week I've had, I needed to laugh. I needed to laugh so very much. So, Mr Brown, again I thank you. After ten years, you can still help get me out of nearly any funk I'm in.
And because I know there's at least one other person on my flist who finds Alton a good de-funk-ifier, I give you a picture of his lovely smile:

(This is the top 10 matches out of a possible 63 Disney characters)Who is Timothy Mouse? Guess I'm not that well versed in Disney characters.
Excuse me while I snicker at not getting the character with my real first name. XD
It's time for a meme!
1 - Go to Wikipedia, hit “random... Read More... Read More” or just click here. The first random wikipedia article you get is the name of your band.
2 - Go to the random quotations page. The last four or five words of the very last quote of the page is the title of your first album.
3 - Go to flickr's "last 7 days"
Third picture, no matter what it is, will be your album cover.
4 - Use Photoshop or similar to put it all together if you don't have it, use Pixlr or Blibs

I shall now attempt to tear myself away from it and go to bed. I really didn't need to find a replacement for Tetris Friends quite that fast.
