Oh, Alex Wexo. Someday I will manage to recognize you without reading your name in the credits of something, despite being used to seeing you in black and white and speaking with another man's voice.

...how much larger and more intimidating this building looks on TV than it does up close.


The Centre: Always Under Construction. (No, seriously. That orange plastic stuff is there in a lot of shots in the show and here it is in 2002.)

Do you know what that means? It means I got a bingo at jjverse before it ended. I AM SO EXCITED!

I'm nearing the end of Alias season 4 in my rewatch--Search and Rescue and Before the Flood are two of only ten S4 episodes I had seen more than once before now--and I've just played my usual game of "Spot Alex Wexo in Search and Rescue" and failed, as I always do. I've known he was in the episode for years now, but I've never managed to notice him. This time, however, I was determined to see him and when the end credits rolled, reminding me I'd missed him yet again, I rewound. And finally found him. And realized why I had never noticed him before.

He's on the screen for only a few seconds and you can't see much of his face, which isn't a huge problem because I'm really good at remembering voices, but... I've never heard Alex Wexo's real voice. I watched him on Pretender for four years, but he always had Patrick Bauchau's voice. I don't feel so bad for not noticing him anymore. XD

They should have cast him as the younger version of Patrick's character in the fifth season of Alias. That would have been awesome beyond words.
