Well, that was a little off-putting...
Nov. 3rd, 2008 05:33 amI just had a bit of an iPod-death scare. Yes, at 5:30 in the morning, what better time? Anyway, my little Granny Smith was stuck showing this lovely little image after I plugged it into my computer:

Which, as it turns out, indicates that the battery was so completely drained it couldn't power the normal display. I didn't recognize it, though, which means that I've had the darned thing for nearly three years and I've never let the battery drain completely. That's... probably not good. And what the heck is the big idea of me forgetting to turn on hold, for the first time, like, ever? Oh, well. I guess I don't get to have my late night/early morning iPod session after all.
